The "Illinois" Blues Brothers were 'born' at the very end of 1997 Designing and building the stage set and lighting, working out the dance routines,the comedy and also learning the songs took nearly 5 months of meticulous planning and rehearsal. Their first performance took place on the 22nd April 1998. Since that date,the show has gone from strength to strength, constantly evolving and improving, travelling the length and breadth of Britain. It has been seen in virtually every major town and city in the UK and has even cruised the oceans with the P&O ship Ocean Village. The show has continued to impress virtually everybody who has ever seen it,even gaining very high praise indeed from the reviewers at the 'The Stage' Newspaper in 2006 and 2007, describing them as "...the standard by which other Blues Brothers Acts must be judged." |
