Maribel Pérez (born on January 29, 1976 in Neerpelt, Belgium), best known by her stage name Belle Perez, is a Belgian musician and songwriter.

Born in Neerpelt to Spanish parents as María Isabelle Pérez Cerezo. The now 32 year old Belgian singer was discovered for her musical talents by Patrick Renier at a local talent show in 1997 at the age of 21. In 1999 she participated in the Belgian preselections of the Eurovision Song Contest and from then on Belle's career in music took off. She started off in pop music but in 2002 she changed her style to Latino/pop and went live on stage with her own "Baila Perez"-band. The album that came with it was an instant success and remained on the top spot in the Belgian charts for several weeks.

Born to a family that included three sisters and two brothers, her father worked in a coal mine and her mother (an opera lover) shared her love for music with her children. She grew up listening to Motown music and female artists like Janis Joplin and Tina Turner.

Dana is a well known Belgium singer but she also had hits in The Netherlands, Germany and South-Africa.

Grace Jones was born to mother Marjorie and father Robert W. Jones, who was a clergyman and a politician. Grace has a brother named Christian who is now known as Bishop Noel Jones. She relocated to Syracuse, New York along with her family in 1965. Grace Jones has studied theatre at Syracuse University.

Jessy De Smet was born the 8th of July 1976 in Zottegem. Both her mother and father are performing in bands and she has a brother who is only 18 months older than Jessy. Already at the age of 8, Jessy started singing. Since her parents are musicians, a musical career for Jessy was the first logical choice. As her parents were performing with "Willy Sommers" (a well-known Belgian artist) every weekend, he asked Jessy to record a single with him. This single was called "Twee Vrienden" (Two friends) and scored pretty good in the Belgian charts.

Recently awarded “Best Selling Benelux Artist Worldwide” at the “World Music Awards”, Belgian singer Kate Ryan continues to conquer the charts and the hearts of pop/dance music lovers worldwide. Kim Smith was born in November 1960, the first child of 1950s rock 'n' roller Marty Wilde (real name Reginald Smith) and Joyce Baker, formerly of the British singing and dancing group The Vernons Girls.

As a child, she attended Oakfield Preparatory School, Dulwich. She moved with her family to Hertfordshire at the age of nine, where she was educated at Tewin School and later Presdales School, Ware, before completing a foundation course at St Albans College of Art & Design in 1980.
